What is an AgentForeverStor was created use an agent-based approach. While automation in the backup process is key for ease of use and dependability, we recognize that it is also important to have IT support when setting up your backup and recovery processes.Who are agents? There are several types of agents, which can range from very small (sole proprietor) to large (ex: companies with more than 10 sales people). Agents are IT professionals, whether they are internal to a customer’s business or are an outside service business. Many agents can come also from the telecommunications or data bandwidth providers. They are our eyes and hands in the field, as well as our clients’ partners in backup and recovery. What does an agent do? Agents are in charge of monitoring client backups, staying in contact with customers if any failures occur and, most importantly, are tasked with restoring data in the event of an emergency. Agents are highly supported by ForeverStor with a unique and easy-to-use agent interface that lets them assist you with tracking your business and backups online, 24x7.
